· Has a comprehensive understanding of how to measure and calculate such noise level descriptors as the energy-equivalent level (Leq), community noise equivalent level (CNEL), day-night level (Ldn), statistical level (Ln), sound pressure level (SPL), and sound power level (Lw)

· Measures ambient noise levels and evaluates onsite noise level emissions, using such equipment as integrating precision sound level meters and real-time frequency analyzers

· Specializes in highway traffic noise analysis and mitigation, with proficiency in final noise barrier design and interior noise level abatement

· Is expert at using the Federal Highway Administration Highway Traffic Noise Prediction Model, STAMINA 2.0 traffic noise model, and SOUND32

· Proficiently uses the Federal Aviation Administration Integrated Noise Model Version 5.0

· Conducts one-third and full octave band analyses and sound proofing design for industrial applications

· Analyzes noise levels at proposed power generating facilities and specifies sound attenuation equipment needed to comply with applicable regulations
