The purpose of the SR-520 Bridge Replacement and HOV project is to improve mobility for people and goods on SR 520 while minimizing negative impacts to neighborhoods and the environment. The SR-520 Projectis one of the largest transportation projects in the State of Washington. Michael Minor & Associates is the task lead for the analysis of existing and future traffic noise. Michael Minor & Associates is responsible for project related noise mitigation analysis. We are currently investigating several different methods of noise abatement and design options for the project, including noise barriers, depressed highways, and lidded highways.
