Sunnyside Road Widening and Improvement Project, Phase 1 through 4, Clackamas Oregon - Performed final design noise analysis and noise wall placement for the Sunnyside Road Projects, Phases 1 through 4. The Sunnyside Road Widening Phase I project includes constructing a continuous five (5) lane section from I-205 to Sunnybrook Blvd. at 108 Avenue and a seven (7) lane section from Sunnybrook to 122nd Avenue. The project includes rerouting adjacent streets and frontage roads, intersection improvements, drainage facilities, landscaping, street lighting, sound walls, and a new bridge crossing Mt. Scott Creek.

Sunnyside Road Widening Phase 2 will widen Sunnyside Road to five lanes from the end of the current Sunnyside Phase I construction (I-205 to 122nd) to SE 142nd. The roadway will be realigned between SE 136th and SE 140th for safety reasons and will have an added bike lane and sidewalks on both sides of the roadway. A new bridge will be constructed over Sieben Creek, and sound walls will be constructed along residential areas.

Phase 3 & 4 will widen Sunnyside Road to five lanes, with bike lanes and sidewalks, from SE 142nd to SE 152nd and SE 152nd to SE 172nd respectively, and will be constructed as funding becomes available.

Mill Plain Boulevard Extension, Vancouver, Washington - Performed noise study for the environmental impact statement for the extension of Mill Plain Boulevard. Performed traffic noise analysis in accordance with FHWA and WSDOT regulations. Proposed mitigation measures in the form of depressed roadways and noise barriers. Samples of the noise barriers, including a pedestrian access point are shown below.
